The Paintbrush
This brush was made from fibres gathered at dawn, its handle bears faint markings, worn smooth by hands over time. Unlike ordinary brushes, it was never meant to follow a sketch.
The brush was found resting in a jar of cloudy water in an abandoned studio, the walls layered with paint from years of work. Strangely, none of the canvases were finished. Those who discovered it reported the sense of having interrupted something important like the artist had simply stepped away and never returned.
When dipped into paint, the colours blend in unexpected ways, and shapes emerge without effort. Collectors believe this brush reveals not what the painter sees, but what they feel .
