The Pancake Stack

This stack was created to mark mornings that start without purpose. Each pancake is slightly different, poured by hand and flipped by happiness. Syrup settles into the layers as though it knows exactly where to belong.

The stack was encountered at a long table already set, plates warm and chairs pulled out as if expecting company. Though the room was empty, the sense of togetherness lingered long after the food was gone.

Those who honour the pancake stack find themselves lingering longer, in conversations, in laughter, in moments they would otherwise rush past. Its magic is indulgent but kind.
