The Washi Tape

The Washi Tape
This particular tape was originally created to mend rather than decorate. Its patterns were inspired by traditional papers used to reinforce fragile books and repair torn pages. Each roll carries subtle variations, ensuring no two uses are ever identical.
It was found among carefully restored journals, each one repaired rather than replaced. The tape held together cracked spines, loose corners, and well-loved pages.
When applied, the tape binds more than paper. It anchors memories, highlights moments worth revisiting, and insists that care is a form of devotion. Collectors often say their journals feel “safer” once it’s been used.
